Settlement Documents

The following are links to settlement-related documents in some of our cases:

Cadmium in Jewelry:  Proposition 65 enforcement action by the Center for Environmental Health (CEH) against manufacturers, importers and retailers of cadmium containing jewelry.  On September 2, 2011, the Court approved a Consent Judgment between CEH and dozens of major players in the jewelry industry that requires them to reformulate their jewelry products to eliminate cadmium risk from their jewelry.  The Court also entered an Order approving an “opt-in” mechanism to allow other companies to participate in the settlement.  For more information on the "opt-in" procedure, go to Opt-In Information.  (CEH v. Aeropostale, Inc., et al., Alameda County Superior Court Lead Case No. RG 10-514803)
